I not only serve my country, but also my community. I served as an Executive Board member of the National Society of Black Engineers, Washington DC Metro Professional Chapter, a STEM non-profit whose mission is to to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.  Additionally, I sat on the Board of Advisors of Leadership LINKS, Inc. which is a growing faith-based, charitable, and educational organization incorporated in the state of North Carolina.
