I have had to literally tell myself you do not need this with all the sales especially from my favorites like BCBG Memorial Weekend Sale (50 % off Everything), Nordstrom Spring Sale, and Asos Memorial Weekend Sale. However, if you are like me it is likely time to clean out the closet and let go a few things. I live in an area where most of the donation centers like Goodwill and Salvation Army are still closed, but believe it or not there are other ways to get rid of your items, and make money too! Here are some ways to make money when you declutter:
1. If you have a blog like mine, you can post your items on your website for people to Shop your closet! Check out my closet here!
2. Create an Instagram page with items from your closet like my friends' page Saja's Closet. Invest in a cheap ring light or take photos in well lit places in your home. This way avoids the pass through fees of places like Poshmark.
2. Find thrifting facebook groups where you can sell your items to others who love gently used clothes at a bargain. I am apart of the Thrifting Diva's group and she allows you to purchase one hour time slots to sell you clothes on FB live! In fact, I am selling items from my closet clean out on 22 May at 7 pm in the online Thrifting Divas Facebook Group!
3. Post your items on Offerup, LetGo, or even Facebook Marketplace. You could arrange for no contact pickup by taking payment via PayPal of CashApp and mail items or leave them outside the designated pickup location.
