Easter is upon us and I love to dress up even though I will be celebrating with a few family members in my house! As a Carolina girl raised in church, Easter was always the time I knew I would be getting a new dress and new white shoes. The whites shoes were always interesting to me because my Mom would never let us wear white after Labor day, and Easter was the signified time where white could be worn again! My sister and I laugh until this day as to how strict my mom was about that white after Labor day rule!
I reminisce on those Easter Sundays growing up where the vibrant colorful hues and floral patterns would fill the crowded church!
